“Winter Conclave: The Force of Nature” 

Event highlights include:

Explore how natural disasters in North Carolina, Houston, Malibu, and Northern California, and Israel have impacted nature, animals and communities

There will be social action opportunities and programming with IsraAid, Stand With Us, Houston Pets Alive, Houston Police Department, Beekeepers Association, Patriot Paws Service Dogs, and Seven Acres Jewish Senior Care Services

Celebrate Shabbat and explore Houston with new and old friends! There will even be a creative Shabbat morning service through Buffalo Bayou.

Saturday night BIG FUN with food trucks, fun vendors and more!


Winter Conclave & NFTY Nashir will be hosted by Houston Congregation for Reform Judaism (HOUSTY). 8th graders from Houston area are eligible to attend. 7th & 8th graders are eligible to register for NFTY Nashir. Teens who are from the Houston area and attending a NFTY-TOR regional event for the first time are eligible to receive a $20 discount.

NFTY Nashir is NFTY’s Songleading Seminar lead by Jewish musician and educator Alan Goodis. Teens from across North America are invited to participate in this seminar! NFTY Nashir participants and Winter Conclave participants will have separate programming, but will have meals, social time, and be housed together. A sample schedule and more event highlights will be released soon!
