This week’s Torah portion, Ki Tavo, opens with a moment of reflection and gratitude. As the Israelites prepared to enter a new chapter, they were encouraged to look back on their journey and recognize all they had experienced along the way. That message feels totally fitting as we look back on another unforgettable summer at GFC and ahead to all the ways our community will stay connected throughout the year.
As another unforgettable summer at GFC has come to a close, it’s hard not to already be thinking about Summer 2027. We know many campers and staff are already missing their friends, favorite activities, and the feeling of being at camp. Fortunately, camp doesn’t disappear when you pull out of the gate.
Our year-round events give campers and families a chance to return to camp, reconnect with familiar faces, and continue building relationships within the GFC community. They’re also a wonderful introduction for families who are curious about GFC and want to experience a bit of what makes camp so special before committing to a full summer session.
Our calendar for the 2026-2027 year is set, and we hope you’ll join us throughout the coming months for some camp magic!

As summer gets closer, Spring Camp offers campers a chance to jump back into camp life, while Mitzvah Weekend provides alumni and adult friends of camp an opportunity to reconnect with the GFC community.

There’s something reassuring about knowing that summer isn’t the only time we gather. Camp friendships don’t begin and end in June and July. The connections made at GFC continue long after the summer concludes, and our year-round events help keep that sense of community strong until we are together again.
