March 29-31, 2019
Join us for Mens’ Retreat at Greene Family Camp for a weekend of outdoor pursuits, spirituality, fun with friends, and the chance to leave camp better than you found it. Mens’ Retreat began with a group of camp dads who wanted to help improve the camp property, and over the years has evolved to include all kinds of camp fun and community just for those who identify as male. Whether you are a camp dad, an alum of our program, or totally new to Jewish camping, Mens’ Weekend is for you. We’ll play poker in the annual GFC tournament (all proceeds benefitting camp’s scholarship fund), drink beer, and explore the wilds of Bruceville together with Josh Lake, founder of Outdoor Jewish Adventures.Learn more and register
Family Retreat with PJ Library
February 22-24, 2019
Bring your entire family to GFC for an incredible weekend of learning, bonding and a special literary track brought to you by PJ Library. This is a great opportunity to try the activities your children write home about during the summers, as well as a great time for younger children to get a first feel for camp. Children in First Grade and above live in cabins, and get to sample the camp experience. From grandparents to babies, this is a great time to enjoy GFC for a weekend!Learn more and register
Young Adult Retreat
May 4-6, 2018
Join us this May in Bruceville, Texas for our first ever Young Adult Retreat! This weekend has been designed for young adults over the age of 22. Our weekend was conceived to allow Jewish young adults and couples an opportunity to re-connect with old friends; make new friends; and experience a reJEWvinating weekend at Greene Family Camp.
Relive your summer camp experience – or experience camp for the first time. Zip down our zipline, paddle in the lake, play a rousing game of kickball, roast s’mores, sing songs around a campfire, all while getting to know young Jewish adults from around Texas and Oklahoma.
