Dear Camp Community,
With each new year, we are all faced with new celebrations and new beginnings. We look back on everything that we have experienced together, we appreciate the lessons that we have learned, and we look toward the future with the confidence that we have become better individuals because of the guidance and support that we have received from our leaders and from our friends.
As we approach the end of the year, we have so much to be grateful for in our camp community. Most notably, we want to thank Stefani Rozen for everything that she has given to our Greene Camp family over the last 13 years on our full-time team. Stefani began her camp career as a camper and grew with camp as an assistant director then camp director. Beginning in January, Stefani will start a new professional journey as the Children, Youth and Camping Director for the Evelyn Rubenstein Jewish Community Center of Houston.
A staff search will begin in the coming weeks, and while I will be here through the year and the summer, I will so miss Stefani’s experience and wisdom. We are all sad to see Stefani depart her position at GFC, but we are all very happy that she will remain close to home and a part of our community.

A message from Stefani:
Working at Greene Family Camp has always been more than just work. Here, where ‘family’ is our middle name, we truly become family. When I moved back to Texas to begin as an assistant director at GFC, I never would have guessed where the path would lead. It has been a privilege to be part of this community through so much mutual growth. When I look back at all that has been accomplished, I am in awe. I am extremely grateful for the opportunities to learn, grow, and lead, and I look forward to continuing my involvement through the local community in Houston.
Thank you all for your ongoing support and partnership through the years. The laughter, fun, and friendship are something I’ll always hold close. I’m excited to begin a new chapter in my journey and bring everything I’ve learned with me.
