t’s hard to believe that we are just one month away from our first session opening day! Here are our top five tips to start preparing for camp:
  1. Practice writing letters! One of the many special things at GFC is that our campers write letters to their friends and families at home. Whether your family plans to send CampMinder Emails or traditional snail mail to your campers, we could all use a refresher on how to write the best letters. Practice writing letters to your family members, pets, or friends and tell them how excited you are for the best summer yet!
  2. Jam out to some GFC music! Here at GFC, we love to sing. Whether we’re singing after meals, during song session, or before bedtime, Start to get familiar with some of the songs we sing by listening to camp music!
  3. Label and pack your items! Curious about what items you should bring with you to camp this summer? Take a look at our packing list and make sure to review our attire policy and new water bottle policy.
  4. Connect with campers in your unit! This week, camp families received rosters for campers living in their metro area. Take a look and meet up with other campers, in-person or virtually, in your area before camp!
  5. Make your summer bucket list! What are you most excited to do this summer? Make a list of the top 10 things that you are excited to do at camp this summer. Need some ideas? Take a look at our list!
    • Climb the Alpine Tower and see the pink elephants!
    • Make new friends from three different cities!
    • Meet an Israeli!
