It’sour favorite time of the year again: Purim. As your religious schools’ carnivals and community parties are approaching, it’s time to pick a costume. Want a way to stand out from all the Esthers and Mordechais? We’ve got some more camp-themed costume ideas to set you apart from the Purim crowds this holiday season.
Ropes Course Participant
Get ready for the zip line with our Ropes Course costume. For this costume, wear athletic clothes, a bike helmet, and tie rope or thick ribbon around your waist like a harness!
Maccabiah
RGBY R-G-B-Y! Wear red, green, blue and yellow to represent Maccabiah! Bonus points if you constantly surprise your friends with your presence in this costume. No one knows when Maccabiah will break!
Campfire
One of our favorite parts of camp is a campfire. Wear an orange beanie and cut out some yellow construction paper or fabric to place on top of it, wear an orange shirt, brown pants that look like logs, and carry around a guitar to represent all the things we love about campfire! Bonus points if you carry around a stick with marshmallows on it!
Camp Counselor
Dress up like your favorite camp counselor! All you need is a pair of gym shorts, a GFC t-shirt, a baseball cap, and a smile.
