It’s hard to pick just ten, but here are some of my favorites (in no particular order).
Tennis I was the tennis specialist for 2 years so I might be a little biased but the tennis courts are one of my favorite places on camp.
Maccabiah In addition to the teamwork, competition, traditions and camaraderie, I love having the excuse to wear tie dye clothes for 3 days straight.
Photography It’s one of the best ways to get a new perspective on camp. And sometimes you get to take really cool pictures like this one.
Lake Jake! From the blob to kayaks, everything about Lake Jake is great!
Horseback riding There’s nothing better (or more Texan) than experiencing a ride down the GFC trails.
Alpine Tower (and Zip Line, and Giant Swing, and Flying Squirrel…) It’s always an adventure on the challenge course!
Mario Kart night One of my favorite evening programs. So much fun!
Erev Yisrael Some of the best food of the summer is served on Erev Israel.
Arts & Crafts Where I make all my tie-dye shirts for Maccabiah! (And my room decorations, and office decorations, and friendship bracelets, and gifts for my parents, and much much more!)
Gaga It’s a game that anyone can play, and it will always have a special place in my heart.
