Hanukkah Night 3 | Ariel’s Miracle of Camp
For me, the miracle of camp is being able to become the person I want, and at the same time to not be afraid to fall. Camp gives the opportunity to explore yourself, to try new things and step out of your comfort zone over and over again. At the same time, it is a place where you can fall again and again. The reason you can fall again and again is the relationships in camp. Every time you fall, there will be people to catch you and to help you get up. The miracle of camp to me is that even though it has been a couple of years since I’ve been in camp, and even though camp is more than 7000 miles from Israel, it is still home to me.
