Here at GFC, we believe that enthusiasm breeds enthusiasm… We live each day full of life, energy, and positivity! Our campers get the attention of their counselors at all hours of the day… where else is there positive energy and excitement everywhere you turn?
In 18 days, our gates will open for the beginning of Summer 2019… and we can’t be more excited! It’s almost time to yell “WELCOME TO CAMP!” and jump up and down as we enthusiastically leap into SUMMER!

At Greene Family Camp, we believe that anything is possible. Camp is magic… magic experiences, magic friendships, magic self-empowerment, and magic community empowerment. At GFC, we are not afraid to try new things or to face our fears… because we have our friends and our counselors to give us the courage, confidence, and empowerment that we need. Together, we can accomplish anything!

At camp, counselors have the power to turn anything into a game… but don’t worry, everyone is a winner at GFC! Do you have a pack of Oreos and 5 minutes before your next activity? Play the Face-Oreo Game! This is a game where people line up, place an Oreo on their forehead, and use only their facial muscles to get the Oreo from their forehead to their mouth… Its SO much fun! Unit head, Rachael Hunt is a rockstar at this game- ask her to show you her skills this summer!
This is just an example of a game that we play, but it is a perfect way to show that it is the silly little things that make moments magical at GFC. What is your favorite camp game?
Who are we at GFC? Carnival Celebrators!

At GFC, we love going to carnivals! Every year, we celebrate “Spectacular Day,” a 4th of July themed carnival with games, crafts, inflatables, cotton candy and more!
We also have a day devoted specifically to Israel, to teach campers about Jewish culture in Israel and to eat Israeli food!
We love celebrating our two countries through fun, immersive experiences!

Every summer, our full session campers take a day trip off camp… and the oldest units take a couple! These trips vary by age group, but all involve a trip to a water park! Floating, sliding, and swimming, we love our Trip Days at GFC! They are a chance to bring camp into the “real world” for a short time, and are a chance for our camp community to shine!

At GFC, we believe that everyone is the most important person in the world. Everyone who enters through our front gates is the center of our world- we give and receive love, attention, friendship, respect, compassion to everyone around us, and we receive it in return! At GFC, we are one big community made of many individuals, who are all honored for who they are.

We LOVE dancing at Greene Family Camp! There are so many opportunities to dance… Song Session, Camp Fire, Rikuday Am (Israeli Dancing), after every meal – just to name a few! There is always so much excitement and activity!
Who are we at GFC? Lean-On-Me Shoulders!

At GFC, one of our favorite songs is “Lean On Me,” a song with lyrics that state: “Lean on me when you’re not strong. I’ll be your friend. I’ll help you carry on, for it won’t be long ’til I’m going to need somebody to lean on…”
One of the biggest sources of camp magic is the unconditional support that we give one another, and ability to lean on your friends when you need it most. We can’t wait to sing this song with you for the first time this summer!

At GFC, we spend a lot of time outdoors! Running, boating, swimming, camping… we do it all! Nature is our playground. During the day, the clouds are like cotton candy and the stars are bright at night!
We celebrate the earth every session on Earth Day, a program planned by our Kibbutz campers to teach us about sustainability and giving back to the nature that surrounds us!
